Embassy of Uzbekistan issues urgent safety advisory for citizens in Israel
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel has issued an emergency appeal to Uzbek nationals currently in the country following the declaration of a "State of Emergency." The diplomatic mission is urging citizens to prioritize personal safety and adhere to strict behavioral guidelines during the ongoing security situation.
A primary instruction from the embassy warns citizens against photographing or filming rocket impact sites or activities during sirens. Such actions are strictly prohibited and may lead to serious legal consequences under local emergency laws.
Mandatory safety measures and protocols
The Embassy has outlined several critical rules for citizens to follow to mitigate risks to their lives:
- During sirens: Individuals must immediately enter the nearest bomb shelter or fortified bunker. Remaining in open areas or ignoring warnings is classified as life-threatening.
- Suspicious objects: Citizens are warned not to approach or touch unknown objects or rocket fragments, as they may contain unexploded ordnance. If discovered, individuals should move to a safe distance and notify emergency services.
- Legal compliance: Following all instructions from local authorities and the Home Front Command is mandatory for all residents and temporary visitors.
