According to the Ministry of Tourism, Uzbekistan Railways will add up to four extra carriages to regular services on the Tashkent–Khiva, Tashkent–Kungrad, Tashkent–Shavat, Tashkent–Termez and Tashkent–Sariosiyo routes.
Additional high-speed electric train services will also operate between Tashkent and Samarkand, Bukhara and Urgench. The extra services will begin two days before the holiday and continue for two days afterwards.
Additional intercity bus services will be introduced across all routes during the holiday period.
Domestic airlines will also add flights on the Tashkent–Urgench, Tashkent–Nukus, Tashkent–Bukhara and Tashkent–Termez routes, with the additional services scheduled to begin at least two days before the holiday.
The measures are intended to ease pressure on the transport network and accommodate the expected increase in passenger numbers.
