Saida Mirziyoyeva discusses investment cooperation with Marco Rubio in Washington

During the talks, the sides reviewed the outcomes of the recent meeting of the US – Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council and noted the steady expansion of the joint portfolio of economic projects.
Mirziyoyeva stressed the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation and expressed gratitude to the US Secretary of State for his contribution to advancing the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States.


“During the discussion, we reviewed the results of the US – Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council meeting and noted the consistent growth of the economic project portfolio. I express my sincere appreciation to the Secretary of State for his significant contribution to further strengthening our strategic partnership,” Mirziyoyeva said.
Earlier, Mirziyoyeva announced in Washington, DC the official launch of the US – Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council.
As part of her visit, she also met with Sergio Gor, co-chair of the council and an ambassador. The discussions focused on key areas of business cooperation between the two countries, highlighting mutual interest in expanding trade and investment ties.
