High-speed Jaloliddin Manguberdi train service to link Tashkent and Khiva starting May 3
A new high-speed rail service named after Jaloliddin Manguberdi will begin operating on the Tashkent–Khiva–Tashkent route starting May 3.

According to the Ministry of Transport, the new service is designed to significantly improve connectivity and reduce travel time between the capital and the ancient city of Khiva.
The express train is scheduled to complete the journey in approximately 7 hours and 30 minutes. Tickets for the service have been priced at UZS 780,000. The launch will begin with the inaugural departure from Tashkent on May 3, followed by the first return trip from Khiva on May 4.
The service will operate on a fixed weekly schedule to cater to both domestic and international travelers. Departures from Tashkent to Khiva are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with the train leaving Tashkent Central Station at 07:00 and arriving in Khiva at 14:31. Return trips from Khiva to Tashkent will take place on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing at 07:20 and arriving at Tashkent Central at 14:51.
Passengers can purchase tickets directly at railway ticket offices or through the official electronic portal at eticket.railway.uz.
