According to a presidential decree signed on May 19, the updated pay structure rewards long-term employment within the tax service by significantly raising monthly allowances based on years of experience. Under the new guidelines, personnel with 1 to 3 years of service will receive a 30% bonus, while those with 3 to 5 years will see a 60% increase. The scale continues to climb based on tenure, offering an 80% bonus for 5–10 years of service, 100% for 10–15 years, and 120% for 15–20 years. Tax officers who have dedicated over 20 years to the agency will qualify for a 150% monthly bump.
In tandem with seniority pay, the government is introducing an incentive to encourage specialized, professional development. Beginning June 1, tax officials at all institutional levels who hold recognized international qualifications or professional certificates will receive an additional monthly bonus equal to 100% of their base salary.
Financing mechanisms for the tax sector are also set to change on June 1. From this date, 40% of all accumulated penalties collected from late tax payments, including any extra funds recovered during official audits, along with 40% of financial sanctions levied for tax violations, will be directly channeled into the Tax Committee specialized fund.
Looking further ahead, the decree establishes a formal recognition system to honor outstanding contributions to the sector. Beginning January 1, 2027, the government will officially introduce the "Soliq xizmati fidoyisi" (Devoted Service in Tax Authorities) breast badge. This honorary award will be granted to individuals who demonstrate exceptional initiative and make significant contributions to the development of the national tax system.
