Thailand to end 60-day visa-free entry for 93 countries, including Uzbekistan
The government of Thailand has approved comprehensive changes to its visa-free entry policies and Visa on Arrival (VoA) procedures.
Under the newly adopted regulations, Thailand will abolish its current 60-day visa-free regime for citizens of 93 countries, including Uzbekistan, starting July 15, 2026.
The policy document is scheduled for official publication in the Royal Gazette next week and will take effect 15 days after its release.
Once these updates are implemented, citizens of Uzbekistan will no longer be eligible to enter Thailand without a visa. Instead, travelers will need to secure an entry permit prior to their trip by submitting an electronic application through the official government portal at thaievisa.go.th.
