Uzbekistan and U.S. discuss strengthening cooperation in education, culture, and media fields
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with a visiting United States delegation led by the Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Sarah Rogers, to discuss expanding bilateral relations.
The meeting focused on a wide spectrum of issues within the framework of the ongoing strategic partnership between the two countries.
Special emphasis was given to broadening cooperation in public diplomacy, cultural exchanges, comprehensive educational programs, and the information sphere.
Foreign Minister Saidov characterized the dialogue as warm and highly constructive. He expressed confidence that the delegation's visit will play a vital role in further cementing ties between Tashkent and Washington, while fostering deeper mutual understanding and direct connections between the people of Uzbekistan and the United States.
