World Cup 2026: Uzbekistan to wear all-white kit against Portugal in Houston
The Uzbekistan national football team will face Portugal tonight, June 23, in their second group stage match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Group K fixture is scheduled to take place at the Houston Stadium in Houston, Texas. The match will kick off at 22:00 Tashkent time.
Both teams enter the contest searching for their first victory of the tournament. During the opening round of group play, Uzbekistan suffered a 1–3 defeat against Colombia, while Portugal was held to a 1–1 draw by the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Ahead of the encounter, FIFA representatives and team officials held an official technical meeting to finalize organizational matters and review tournament regulations. For tonight's match, the Uzbek national team will take the pitch in an all-white uniform, while the starting goalkeeper will wear green gear.
In the other Group K fixture of the second round, group leaders Colombia will square off against the DR Congo.
