Uzbekistan U-20 internationals Khasanov and Sodikov join Braga
Uzbekistan U-20 internationals Sadriddin Khasanov and Sayfiddin Sodikov have completed transfers to Portuguese club Braga, where they have already begun preparations for the 2026/27 season.
Khasanov, 18, rose to fame after helping Uzbekistan win the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup, where he was named the tournament's best player. A graduate of the Bunyodkor academy, he made his senior debut in the Uzbekistan Super League during the 2026 season.
Sodikov, also 18, is a right winger who has represented Uzbekistan at both the U-17 and U-20 levels. Before moving to Portugal, he played in Uzbekistan's top flight with FC Andijon and was part of the Uzbekistan squad that won the CAFA U-20 Championship.
Braga is widely regarded as one of Portugal's leading clubs and has earned a reputation for developing young talent before players move on to some of Europe's biggest teams.
The transfers are expected to provide both Khasanov and Sodikov with an opportunity to continue their development in a highly competitive European football environment.
