Head of Uzbekistan’s Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva visited a specialized boarding school offering advanced foreign-language training, which currently has more than 260 talented children enrolled.

The school will place particular emphasis on STEM subjects, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and IT, Mirziyoyeva said.

The children will have the opportunity to study these subjects in greater depth, work on projects, apply their knowledge in practice and conduct independent research.

The school’s language programme includes intensive English and Chinese studies.

The curriculum also gives considerable attention to the Uzbek language, history, literature and culture.

“I support this approach of providing children with a modern education and opportunities for the future while preserving their strong ties to their country and its culture,” the head of the Presidential Administration said.
