Uzbekistan’s Tourism Committee said on September 15 that the talks focused on expanding cooperation, increasing tourist flows between the two countries, and strengthening direct ties between tourism industry representatives in Uzbekistan and Bahrain.
The sides agreed to set up a regular exchange of information on tourism marketing research and statistical data, as well as on key trends aimed at boosting mutual tourist flows.
The officials also discussed launching direct flights between Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, and Manama, the capital of Bahrain. In addition, they agreed to keep organizing exchange trips and press tours for tourism officials and journalists from both countries.
