The competition brought together nearly 500 participants from 12 teams representing seven countries. Military personnel from the United States, Azerbaijan, Australia and Poland also took part.
Troops from eight other countries, including Turkey, Mexico, the Philippines and Malaysia, observed the competition.
The event, which has been held annually since 2023, featured several stages designed to test combat skills in different environments. Participants first completed exercises simulating combat in mountainous, forested and urban terrain before taking part in a final stage that combined all three environments.
The Uzbek team achieved record results in several events, according to the Defense Ministry.
In the mountainous terrain exercise, the team completely eliminated the simulated enemy forces defending their positions without suffering any casualties and captured all seven flags. The ministry said no team had previously achieved the same result.
The Uzbek troops also captured all designated facilities and seven flags during the urban combat exercise. They again completed the task without casualties, including while holding defensive positions at seven designated sites.
The Uzbek team finished the competition with 316 points, taking first place. Cambodia scored 212 points to finish second, while the host South Korean team came third with 192 points.
The returning Uzbek servicemen were given a ceremonial welcome at Tashkent International Airport, attended by Defense Ministry officials, members of the public and media representatives.
