The country received 1.2 million foreign visitors in September alone, according to the Tourism Committee.
Tourist arrivals from several countries recorded particularly strong growth during the nine-month period. The number of visitors from China more than doubled, rising 2.1 times, while arrivals from Malaysia increased 1.9 times.

Visitor numbers from Egypt and Romania grew 1.8 times, followed by Indonesia at 1.7 times, Japan at 1.5 times, the United States at 1.4 times and Russia at 1.3 times.
The number of tourists from Germany and the United Kingdom increased by 25%, while arrivals from France rose 21% and those from Türkiye by 15%.
The growth in visitor numbers was accompanied by a sharp increase in tourism exports. Uzbekistan’s exports of tourism services reached $5.3 billion in January–September, up 51.2% from the same period in 2025.
