The highest compliance rate, 96%, was recorded by the Interregional Tax Inspectorate for Large Taxpayers.
Among regions, Tashkent recorded a rate of 94%, followed by Karakalpakstan and Tashkent region at 91% each. Samarkand region ranked next, at 90%.
Compliance rates varied considerably by tax type. Payments for the use of subsoil resources had the highest rate, at 100%, followed by personal income tax at 97% and corporate profit tax at 96%.
The voluntary compliance rate for excise tax stood at 95%, while value-added tax reached 92% and turnover tax 91%.
The rates were lower for property tax, at 88%, and land tax, at 86%. Water use tax had the lowest voluntary compliance rate, at 60%.
