Tijjani Reijnders put the visitors ahead in the 35th minute, but Dostonbek Khamdamov converted a penalty in the 89th minute to rescue a point for the Uzbek Super League runners-up.
Pakhtakor had also drawn their opening match, sharing the points with another Saudi Arabian side, Al-Ahli, in a 1-1 away result. The Tashkent club now have two points from their first two matches.
Pakhtakor will play their next match in the competition on October 26, away against Iraq’s Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.
