Uzbekistan appoints new Ambassador to Austria
Abat Fayzullayev has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Austria.

According to the information agency Dunyo, prior to his appointment, Fayzullayev worked as an Assistant to the Minister.
Abat Fayzullaev was born in 1983 in Nukus. In 2007, he graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and in 2009 ā from the Tashkent State University of Economics.
He worked in various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Uzbek Embassy in the United States.
It should be reminded that earlier the post of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Austria was held by Sherzod Asadov. On March 19, at the expanded meeting of the Foreign Ministry, he was presented as the new Deputy Foreign Minister. Asadov also served as Uzbekistanās Permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and other international organizations in Vienna.
