Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan visit Bukhara
The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has arrived in the city of Bukhara to participate in the events scheduled for the second day of the Uzbekistan – Tajikistan summit. Upon arrival at the Bukhara International Airport, the head of state personally welcomed the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, who is currently in the country on a high-level state visit.

The arrival was marked by a solemn welcoming ceremony held in honor of the distinguished guest. The reception featured vibrant performances of national songs and traditional dances, reflecting the deep cultural ties and mutual respect between the two neighboring nations.
The agenda for today includes a visit by the two leaders to the historic monuments of ancient Bukhara, a city renowned for its architectural heritage and status as a center of Islamic civilization. In addition to exploring these historical landmarks, the presidents are expected to visit several local industrial enterprises.
These site visits are intended to showcase the region's economic potential and foster further cooperation in trade and manufacturing between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
