The discussions focused on the prospects for strengthening multifaceted cooperation between the two nations, building upon agreements reached during the high-level meeting in October 2025. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the recent uptick in engagement across governments, parliaments, and business circles, as well as the expansion of humanitarian exchanges.

Particular attention was directed toward increasing bilateral trade volumes. The leaders discussed the preparation of a comprehensive cooperation program targeting key industrial sectors, including mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, the chemical industry, information technology, agriculture, and tourism.

To advance this economic agenda, an agreement was reached to hold the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in Belgrade later this year. This commission is expected to serve as a primary vehicle for coordinating joint investment projects and streamlining trade procedures.

Beyond industrial cooperation, the meeting covered collaborative efforts in organized labor migration, culture, and education. The president and the minister also exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues, while reviewing the schedule for upcoming meetings at the highest levels.
