South Korean President plans to visit Uzbekistan

South Korean President Mun Chje In has congratulated the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the press service of the head of state said.

“Dear Mr. President, please accept my warmest congratulations on the 27th anniversary of state independence of Uzbekistan as well as my best wishes for the continued success and prosperity of your country and its people.

During the years of independence, the Republic of Uzbekistan has gained remarkable achievements in politics, economics and social development.

The reform policy, which is being implemented under you guidance, has given significant results.

I am convinced that under your leadership, the Republic of Uzbekistan will achieve new and higher goals in its development.

I am glad that our countries have been developing mutually beneficial ties based on trust and friendship since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992. I hope to visit Uzbekistan and meet His Excellency in an appropriate time for both parties and to discuss possibilities of further strengthening and expanding cooperation between our countries.

Your Excellency, I wish you good health and great success and further prosperity to the Republic of Uzbekistan," reads the congratulatory message.
