US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs visits Uzbekistan

The US State Department delegation will arrive in Uzbekistan on September 12, 2018, says the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The delegation will be headed by First Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs Brian MacFiters.

The program of the visit envisages holding talks at the Cabinet of Ministers, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry for Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economy and Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications. During the talks, it is expected that the sides will discuss the prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres.

Earlier it was reported that Sam Brownback, US Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom, would pay a visit to Uzbekistan.
