Shavkat Mirziyoyev sends congratulations to the President of Cyprus

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev extended congratulations to Nicos Anastasiades, President of the Republic of Cyprus, on Independence Day, the press service of the head of state reports.

Diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and the republic of Cyprus was established on May 30, 1997 with the signing of a protocol in Moscow.

Cyprus attained independence on 16 August 1960, after the Zürich and London Agreement between the United Kingdom, Greece and Turkey.
