Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan to establish a domestic waste recycling plant in Tashkent
On Oct. 11, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the State Unitary Enterprise "MaxsusTrans" under the State Committee for Ecology and Environment Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kazakh company "GorKomTrans goroda Karagandi", the press service of the Uzbek company reports.
This memorandum aims to study the experience of two enterprises on the utilization of municipal waste and provide dissemination of theoretical, advisory and practical assistance, including the organization of collection, removal, sorting and recycling municipal waste.
The meeting was held, for discussion of issues in detail, in the building of Tashkent city administration and attended by the leadership of the two sides. Participants of the event presented a list of activities to be carried out within the framework of mutual cooperation.
In addition, the plan of building a solid domestic waste treatment plant in Tashkent was spoken out.
