Uzbekistan tops the rating of the most popular travel destinations among Russians for New Year holidays

Travel site “Tutu.ru” summed up the booking of tickets for the New Year holidays. It turned out that the demand for New Year's tickets to Europe for the year fell by almost 20%.

The interesting thing is that Uzbekistan, surprisingly, was ranked first in the rating of the most popular tourist destinations in 2018.

European cities have traditionally been the most popular tourist destinations for holidays during the New Year period. But in the autumn the situation has changed.

Germany ranked second and the Czech Republic the third. Germany, the Czech Republic and Moldova were the leaders in the last year’s rating. Now Moldova has moved down to the ninth position. The popularity of Armenia and Georgia is growing.”
