International tourist arrivals to Uzbekistan top 5.3 million in first five months of 2026
More than 5.3 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan between January and May 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The committee recorded 5,351,868 international arrivals during the five-month period, with visitors coming from 203 countries around the world.
Men accounted for the majority of travelers, totaling 2.97 million arrivals, compared with 2.38 million women.

By age group, visitors aged 31 to 55 made up the largest share of arrivals at nearly 2.8 million people. They were followed by travelers aged 56 and older, who accounted for more than 1.08 million visits. Young adults between 19 and 30 years old represented around 892,000 arrivals, while children and teenagers under 18 totaled 584,171.
