Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Nguyễn Phú Trọng on his election as President of Vietnam

On October 24, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the General Secretary of the ruling Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyễn Phú Trọng on his election as President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The National Assembly of Vietnam elected Nguyễn Phú Trọng as state president on 23 October 2018 with 99.79% percent of the vote. His swearing-in ceremony took place at the Grand hall and was broadcast live on the afternoon on state radio and television systems.
