“Business city” to be built in Yunusabad district

On October 26, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the project of the new business center being built in Yunusabad district, Tashkent, the presidential press service reports.

In accordance with the decree of the head of state “On measures to create modern "Business cities" in the territory of the republic”, which was signed on August 2, 2018, a business complex is being constructed on 45,5 hectares of land area in Yunusabad district. The center is reported to have commercial centers, business premises, entertainment establishments, recreational parks, housings and other facilities.

According to preliminary estimations, the cost of the project is $ 500 million. It will be implemented in 2019-2023.

The President noted that when building the new business center, it is necessary to take into account the terrain and to use advanced international experience. He gave instructions to attract foreign investors, experienced designers and builders to the construction.

A presentation proposal on the management of multi-storey houses in Yunusabad district was demonstrated to the President. These proposals are based on the Russian experience of Kazan city. It is aimed at improving the service of multi-storey houses, strengthening the material and technical basis, and ensuring economic stability through the establishment of professional service companies.

The President ordered to implement this system in the construction of the center, find the owner of each multi-storey house and grant them privileges.

“This sphere will remain unchanged if we do not bring together innovative, scientific and organizational work. Communal services will not be qualitative if private businesses do not own them,” the President said. “Bad-quality facilities will result in instable payments. If we arrange the service in this field, the situation will change and people will be satisfied.”
