On October 31, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory message to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on the occasion of a significant date in the history of bilateral relations - the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Eternal Friendship between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The head of our state, sincerely congratulating the brotherly people of Kazakhstan, noted that this important document secured the inviolability of the centuries-old bonds of friendship, fraternity and good neighborliness between our countries and peoples, which bind common history, spiritual and cultural heritage.
It was stressed that the signing of the Strategic Partnership Agreement and the Joint Declaration on the further deepening of strategic partnership and strengthening of good-neighborliness was a new milestone in the consistent development of cooperation.
“A remarkable example of the strengthening of ties between our nations is the cultural, humanitarian and business events held this year within the framework of the “Year of Uzbekistan” in Kazakhstan,” the message says.
