A Center for combating terrorism, extremism and separatism opened in Dushanbe
On November 9, the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs opened a Center in Dushanbe for countering terrorism, extremism and separatism. The ceremonial opening was attended by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the chairman of Dushanbe city Rustam Emomali, the Tajik presidential press service reports.
The main building of the Center consists of 4 floors and a basement. On the ground floor there is a duty room and a dining room. There are working and training rooms, as well as other infrastructure equipped with modern technology on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
Employees of the Center for countering terrorism, extremism and separatism at the Ministry of Internal Affairs have 9 cars at their disposal, including 1 minibus and 2 cars equipped with operational-technical devices.
Also, an 8-room hotel was built at the center with supporting infrastructure.
After getting acquainted with the activities of the Center, the president presented the personnel with a camera, video recorder, TV and other technical means.
