Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the President of Latvia

On November 18, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis on the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, the presidential press service reports.

Latvia proclaimed independence at 4 p.m. on November 18, 1918 at the Riga Second Theater, now Latvian National Theater.

On this day, various events marking Latvia’s 100th Independence Day took place all over the country, the majority of which were free to the public.
