“Uzinfocom” domain registrar to be terminated

Domain owners can transfer them to any other official registrar of the “UZ” zone.

The LLC “United Integrator for the creation and support of state information systems UZINFOCOM” ceased its activities in the registration and renewal of domain names in the zone .UZ.

“Domain name holders serviced by the LLC “United Integrator UZINFOCOM” can transfer their domain names to any official registrar in the zone .UZ,” the report said.

It is noted that this decision will allow “Uzinfocom” to adhere to a well-defined distributed function between registrars and the administration of the domain .UZ, develop a competitive network of registrars and others.

“Uzinfocom” is an administrator of the top-level domain of Uzbekistan in accordance with the ccTLD sponsorship agreement. On March 27, 2003, a contract was signed with the Corporation for the designation of Internet names and addresses (ICANN). At the time of publication, the company was listed as a registrar of 320 domains.
