New Year tree goes up in flames in Tashkent 

In Tashkent, a tree, decorated for New Year celebrations, caught fire, Kun.uz correspondent reports.

“At the recreational park “Lokomotiv”, located in Mirzo-Ulugbek district, sudden fire broke out while installing the New Year tree. A preliminary cause of ignition is a short circuit of illuminations which decorated the Christmas tree. Nobody was hurt,” the police department noted.
