Month of Patriotism is held in Uzbekistan from Dec. 15 to Jan. 15

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved the Program of measures for the preparation and conduct of the patriotic month to celebrate the 27th anniversary of the formation of Uzbekistan’s Armed Forces and the Day of Defenders of the Motherland.

Within the framework of the month from December 15, 2018 to January 15, 2019, a series of celebrations will be held under the general motto “Motherland is sacred, its defense is an honorable duty!”

It is envisaged that leaders of state and public organizations should conduct lessons on the topic “Courage and bravery” in higher educational institutions, academic lyceums, vocational colleges, and general education schools where they studied.
