CBU increased prices of gold and silver coins
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has upgraded the selling price of gold and silver coins, which will come into force from December 26:
Starting from today:
• 1 gold coin costs 13.1 million soums;
• 1 silver coin costs 244 thousand soums.
There are 2 gold and 14 silver coins put on sale minted in 1994-2009, with their nobility ratio of 999.9 and weight of 31.1 grams. The weight of the coin can vary from 0.01 grams to the displayed parameters, depending on production characteristics.
It is worth noting that the Central Bank sets prices once a week, based on the fixed price of the London Precious Metals Association and the exchange rate of the Uzbek soum against the US dollar.
