“GM Uzbekistan” has fired the director of the car dealership in Fergana region on suspicions of corruption, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
Upon monitoring the activities of dealership enterprises in January-September of this year, it was revealed that LLC “Fergana Avtomarkaz” has systematically made mistakes and shortcomings in its operation.
“The reason for this monitoring was the receipt of about a hundred appeals from individuals and legal entities since beginning of the year regarding the activities of this dealership center. Appeals were related to the employees’ rude attitude towards customers, as well as existence of corruption components,” GM Uzbekistan noted.
Also, the showroom did not meet required standards, did not provide transparency in the process of selling cars. At the same time, the unqualified personnel of the center prevented the creation of comfortable environment for customers.
“As a result, the head of the dealership center “Fergana Avtomarkaz” was sacked. The rectification of all the identified shortcomings was entrusted to a new acting director of the company Erkin Ikromov,” the company said.
