New head of Syrdarya Regional Department of Internal Affairs is appointed

An extraordinary meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was held on Thursday, the Department of Public Relations and Mass Communications of the Interior Ministry reported.

It was chaired by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Major-General Pulat Bobojonov. 

During the meeting, Colonel Ilhom Qutlimuratov, who served as head of the Ministry’s Criminal Investigations Department, was appointed head of the Syrdarya Regional Department of Internal Affairs.

For information, Colonel Muhiddin Jurayev, ex-head of the Syrdarya RDIA, was transferred to the post of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for Public Order.
