Tajikistan begins exporting agricultural tractors to Uzbekistan
On December 27, 2018, eight “Belarus 82.1” and “Belarus 80X” brand tractors were delivered to Uzbekistan, Asia-Plus reports.
In accordance with the data of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, in 2019, it is planned to launch a large-scale supply of these tractors to Uzbekistan, as well as exporting the brand “Belarus 512” (tractor without a cab) to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The Tajik Ministry noted that the JV “Agrotekhservis” was officially commissioned on September 29, 2017 with the participation of the Tajik and Belarusian presidents – Emomali Rakhmon and Alexander Lukashenko.
It should be noted that the joint venture can produce more than 1700 tractors in a year. In particular, an annual output of other types of agricultural equipment, including trailers consists of 2600 units.
