Real estate transactions to be simplified
Uzbekistan intends to simplify the registration of real estate transactions. This is stated in the draft State Program “Year of Active Investments and Social Development”, which is based on the Actions Strategy along five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021.
By March 1, 2019 the document will be elaborated.
The following are envisaged in the plan:
- simplifying the cadastre collection folder of the real estate object, transferring the cadastre passport to the electronic system;
- registering transactions with real estate on the basis of notarial offices, entering into the transaction information database and registering the property right online;
- abolishing the requirement for technical inventory carried out by the cadastre agencies in the conclusion of transactions for alienation of immovable property;
- establishing the order of requesting real estate registration and re-registration form through the Internet.
Ministry of Justice, State Property Committee, Davyergeodezkadastr and State Competition Committee are appointed as responsible bodies for the execution of the project.
