Uzbekistan to attend the second Belt and Road forum in April

On January 8, 2019, Deputy Foreign Minister Dilshod Akhatov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Jiang Yan, the press service of the Ministry reported.

During the conversation, topical issues of the Uzbek-Chinese relations were discussed. The parties also exchanged views on the schedule of joint events planned for 2019.

At the meeting, particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of the participation of Uzbekistan’s delegation in the second Belt and Road forum, which will be held in April this year.
