Azerbaijani delegation arrives in Uzbekistan
In order to study the experience of the country in creation and functioning of public services system, organization of work with the population, and exchange experience in innovative approaches in this area, the delegation from the Republic of Azerbaijan arrived in Uzbekistan.
The delegation met with the leadership of the Uzbek Ministry of Justice and the Agency for Public Services, outlined promising plans for the future, became familiar with activities of recently opened Center for Public Services, and received information on mobile public services for citizens who are unable to visit the centers personally.
Within the framework of the visit, guests toured in Samarkand. The visit to this world-famous city began with the mausoleum of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and commemoration.
Azerbaijani delegation became acquainted with activities of people’s reception offices of the President of Uzbekistan, which have become popular even among foreign colleagues. It was noted that people’s reception offices are formed to introduce a qualitatively new system of working with appeals from individuals and legal entities, to establish a direct dialogue with people, to fully protect their rights, freedoms and legitimate interests.
They also visited Shakhi Zinda memorial ensemble, the Temurids mausoleum Gur-Emir, Registan Square and other sights.
