China officially invites President Mirziyoyev to the second International Belt and Road Forum

On January 16, 2019, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Jiang Yan, the press service of the MFA reported.

During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on topical issues of the Uzbek-Chinese agenda for 2019.

The ambassador conveyed the official invitation of the Chinese side to the President of Uzbekistan to take part in the second International Belt and Road forum, which will be held in April this year in Beijing.

The meeting also discussed the practical aspects of the Uzbek-Chinese summit in Tashkent.
