In the near future, it is planned to implement a project for constructing plants for the production of aerocrete blocks, as well as aerocrete slabs produced by the autoclave method in Tashkent region, Kun.uz correspondent reports.

Equipment for enterprises will be supplied by a German company Wehrhahn GmbH. An agreement on this was signed in Berlin by representatives of the German company and the Uzbek-Turkish joint venture East Mining Investment.

Total cost of the project is €130 million, of which €50 million is a foreign investment. According to the project initiators, the created capacities will become unique for the CIS countries in terms of energy efficiency. It is also planned to arrange export of products to neighboring countries that fully complies with international standards.

The advantage of aerocrete blocks and slabs is that buildings and structures that are built using this product are distinguished not only by saving heat and energy, but also provide a short construction period.

It should be recalled that a memorandum of understanding on this project was signed in August 2018 during the International Investment Forum in Jizzakh. In total, the country plans to build 5 modern factories for the production of aerocrete blocks and slabs with a capacity of 2,5 million cubic meters per year.
