Belarusian and Uzbek universities to create a joint techno-park in Tashkent
The Belarusian National Technical University and the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov will create a joint techno-park, Kun.uz correspondent reports citing data from the Belarusian university.
This unique project will be implemented in Tashkent this year. The created scientific-technologic park will be the first university subject of the innovation infrastructure in Uzbekistan.
Participation in this project of the Scientific-technological park “Polytechnic” (Belarus) as a co-founder will allow integrating the scientific and innovative potential of the two universities, as well as scale the experience of the Belarusian side in the business incubation of high-tech projects and jointly develop science-based productivity of international level involving undergraduates and doctoral students of both universities.
The primary joint innovative project defines the initiative for development and production of medical products. In order to promote the scientific-technical development of Belarusians and attract medical specialists to the implementation of the innovative project, meetings have already been held with leadership of the Center for Emergency Medical Aid, Republican Specialized Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics.
During the negotiations, representatives of medical institutions of Uzbekistan noted the high level and great need for healthcare institutions in products manufactured by the Belarusian side. Also, they expressed readiness for joint development and organization of production in the technology park created in Uzbekistan.
