Men tried to sell 2 lion cubs in Tashkent for $6,000
Four men were detained in Tashkent while attempting to sell two lion cubs for $6,000, the press service of the State Customs Committee reports.
The crime was prevented by the employees of the anti-smuggling and combating customs legislation infringement department.
The men were detained in the Shaykhantakhur district, Tashkent. One of the cubs was in the trunk of a Lacetti car, the other - in Spark.
Currently, employees of the State Customs Committee are conducting relevant checks.
