Earthquake hits Uzbek-Kazakh border region
An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 occurred on the border of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, the Seismological Experimental Methodological Expedition of the Science Committee of the Ministry Education and Science of Kazakhstan reported.
According to seismologists, the earthquake was recorded on the morning of February 25, at 8:33 a.m. Almaty time.
The earthquake epicenter was in 688 km north-east of the city of Almaty, on the border of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
