Abdulaziz Akkulov, Acting Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development, met with the Secretary General of the European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations (ECTAA), Mr. Michel de Blust at ITB Berlin 2019 Travel Trade Show., UzA reports with reference to the press service of the State Committee for Tourism Development.
During the meeting, the sides discussed experience of Europe in development of the tourism industry, reforms and initiatives being carried out in Uzbekistan, as well as possible areas of cooperation.
Following the talks, an agreement was reached on holding the session of the General Assembly of ECTAA with participation of presidents and heads of the national travel associations of the EU in Uzbekistan, in November 2019.
