Shavkat Mirziyoyev speaks about why he dismissed khokim of Surkhandarya region

On April 4, a videoconference meeting was held in Tashkent under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The event was devoted to the issues of budget execution and export forecast for the first quarter, as well as unconditional performance of indicators for the first half of the year.

During the event, Shavkat Mirziyoyev told why he dismissed the khokim of the Surkhandarya region.

“Why did I dismiss the khokim of the Surkhandarya region? There is no order, no discipline in the region, shame. The law is equal for all - for khokims, for the police and for heads of other state services. Where there is law, there is discipline, responsibility,” the president said.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev also noted that in Surkhandarya, individuals and legal entities did not pay over 2 billion soums taxes.

It should be recalled that on April 2, khokim of Surkhandarya Bakhodir Pulatov was dismissed and his first deputy Tura Bobolov was appointed acting khokim of the region.
