Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan to attend a high-level conference on Central Asia in Romania
Delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Dilshod Akhatov will visit Romania on April 15-16, to attend the high-level conference on Central Asia entitled “Interconnectedness for sustainable development”, the press service of the MFA reported.
It is noted that within the framework of their visit to Bucharest, delegation of Uzbekistan will hold meetings and negotiations with the Secretary of State of the Romanian Foreign Ministry Dan Neculăescu and the Secretary of State of the Ministry for Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship Gabriela Mihaela Voicilă, as well as heads of other delegations participating in the conference.
It should be reminded that on October 31, 2018, Uzbek Foreign Ministry hosted the fifth round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Romania.
Then the sides spoke in favor of strengthening and further developing the Uzbek-Romanian ties in the political, trade-economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, establishing and encouraging direct contacts between the businesses and travel agencies of the two countries.
