Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Beijing

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Beijing on a working visit.

According to the press service of the head of state, PRC officials met the president at Shoud International Airport.

It should be recalled that the first international forum “One Belt, One Road”, in which Shavkat Mirziyoyev also took part, was held in 2017.

Over 40 heads of state and government of foreign countries, international and regional organizations will take part in this summit.

The agenda includes issues of further deepening economic cooperation, enhancing collaboration in finding new sources of long-term growth, promoting a green economy and innovation, as well as implementing priority infrastructure projects in the region.

The main events of the forum will begin tomorrow, April 25.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold meetings with President Xi Jinping, heads of a number of foreign countries and international financial institutions, as well as leading Chinese companies.
