Belgian company intends to invest $700 million in energy sector of Uzbekistan
On April 24, 2019, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belgium Dilyor Khakimov met with representatives of “Stone City Energy”, which is negotiating with the government of our country to invest in the energy sector.
As reported by the press service of the MFA, the company intends to inject investments in the amount of $700 million at the first stage of the project.
The general manager of the company informed about the results of the visit to Tashkent and thanked the Embassy for the assistance provided in organizing meetings in Uzbekistan.
During the talks, the parties also discussed the next steps and issues related to the implementation of the project.
