Shavkat Mirziyoyev sends greetings to President of South Africa on Freedom Day

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has congratulated the President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa on Freedom Day, the presidential press service reported.

Freedom Day is a public holiday in South Africa celebrated on 27 April. It celebrates freedom and commemorates the first post-apartheid elections held on that day in 1994.

For information, Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations with South Africa on August 12, 1992 through the exchange of notes.
